Peter Bennett, CGC – President
Mr. Bennett is a licensed general contractor with a degree in architecture, and over 15 years experience in the design and construction field. He is skilled in architectural project design, project management, and construction administration. He has been involved in public and residential renovation, new construction, historical properties, restoration and renovations, and commercial construction. As President of Samter Homes, he oversees all aspects of development and administration.

Mr. Bennett is actively involved in a number of charitable organizations.  He is currently the Vice-President of the Suncoast Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and a member of the board for the Children’s Cancer Center.

Ronald A. Ford, A.I.A- Director of Construction
Mr. Ford is a licensed architect with over 25 years experience in the design and construction field. He is skilled in many areas of project development including construction management and scheduling, cost analysis, risk management and document control. He has been involved with projects of varying scale and complexity with responsibilities ranging from document preparation to full on site construction administration. As Director of Construction for Samter Homes, Mr. Ford is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction including bidding, contracts, scheduling and quality control.

His project experience includes office buildings, educational facilities, detention facilities, retail, hotels, government buildings and multi-family developments located in various parts of the United States, with construction costs up to $120 million individually. Mr. Ford also has experience on sustainable projects including LEEDS certified buildings.
